We’re excited to announce that the latest version of Passport Prime firmware, KeyOS 1.2.1, is now live! To download it, simply initiate the update from the settings menu in your Passport Prime and choose ‘Update with Envoy’ to be guided through the process. Read more below.
WHAT’S CHANGED
With this version of Passport Prime’s firmware, we’ve focused on fixing bugs reported by early customers and listened to some of the feedback.
For more details on each of the changes, keep reading below!
NEW FEATURES
- Users can now decide whether they want to perform a manual or magic backup, regardless of Envoy Magic Backup status. Before initiating the magic backup, tap Advanced in the top right corner to change to manual.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a bug where exiting the onboarding after a seed and a pin were defined didn’t restart the flow from the beginning
- Fixed an issue where creating new Security Keys was prevented under specific circumstances with a “Duplicate Index” error
- Fixed an issue preventing successful import of 2FA codes containing “:”
- Fixed a bug where toggling Airlock between Read Only and Read/Write while plugged in could cause the drive to not be recognized. Drive recognition is also faster now.
- Fixed a bug where importing a plaintext seed via QR during onboarding could lead to a stale onboarding flow
- Fixed a UI issue where moving or copying to Airlock while plugged in was incorrectly enabled when connected to a computer. Airlock folders are now correctly disabled in this case.
