We’re excited to announce that the latest version of Passport Core firmware – 2.3.11 – is now live! To download it, simply initiate the update from Envoy to be guided through the process.
WHAT’S CHANGED
With this minor version of Passport Core firmware, we’ve added the ability to connect to Bull Bitcoin wallet, updated Casa’s logo, and fixed a minor bug.
For more details on each of the changes, keep reading below!
NEW FEATURES
-
Added the Bull Wallet connection flow – Support for Bitcoin Bull Wallet withdrawals to Passport Core has now been added. This gives users a straightforward way to move Bitcoin from Bull Wallet into self-custody, with transaction signing handled on Passport Core.
Bull Wallet serves as a reliable Bitcoin, Lightning and Liquid wallet for holding and spending sats, and now Passport Core can be connected to securely receive and sign for funds offline.
IMPROVEMENTS
-
Updated Casa logo
BUG FIXES
-
Fixed a minor issue where Passport Core would try to install Founder’s Edition software if the user manually provided the wrong update file. It would already fail, but we updated this behavior so it detects it and refuses to attempt the upgrade from the start.
